Questions about our credentials

What does the license let you do?

General repair and remodeling work. It doesn't cover electrical, plumbing or air conditioning, so we send those jobs to firms that hold those classes.

Can I get a certificate of insurance?

Yes, before work starts. Tell us who the certificate should name, and we'll send it to you or the owner.

Is the building older than 1978?

Tell us the year when you text. Paid work that disturbs painted surfaces in a building built before 1978 falls under the EPA lead rule. Repairs under 6 square feet inside or 20 square feet outside are exempt, but replacing windows and tearing out walls never are. If a job is covered, our reply says so and who will do it before we book. We don't dry-sand or scrape old paint.
